Creekside Kinderclass Preschool is guided by the principles of Waldorf education. Our mission is to nurture the development of the young child by honoring the role of imagination in learning, respecting the uniqueness of each child's gifts and abilities, and focusing on a play-based approach. Our program is rooted in the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, Founder of Waldorf Education. We honor and emphasize the role of free play in early childhood education, with rhythmic, structured days that give children a safe and peaceful container in which to learn, grow, and gradually transition from the life of home to the community of school.
