Wasatch Family Foundation offers two aftercare options which use approaches consistent with Waldorf education. 

Kindergarten Aftercare

Kindergarten Aftercare is offered for those students enrolled in full-day Kindergarten. Aftercare is at the Kinderhouse on Mondays through Thursdays from 2:20-3:15 pm and consists primarily of outdoor play. Tuition rates are detailed on application form.

Grade School Aftercare Options

  • Aftercare for Grades 1-8 is held on the Wasatch Charter School campus.  This includes arts, crafts, games, snack and outdoor play. Tuition is $245/month.
            Aftercare hours: Monday through Thursday from 3:20 pm to 5:30 pm.
  • First grade aftercare will be held outdoors as much as air quality/weather allows. Time will include free play time, arts, crafts and games. Tuition is $130/month. 
            Grade 1 aftercare hours: Monday through Thursday from 2:20 pm to 3:20 pm.
  • Friday aftercare for Grades 1-8 is available separately since this is an early dismissal day.  Fridays includes outdoor play, arts and crafts, snack and games. Tuition is $115/month.
            Friday aftercare hours: 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Aftercare will not be held on the following dates:
     Wednesday, August 20, 2025 (First Day of School)
     Thursday, June 4, 2026 (Last Day of School)

All aftercare programs are tuition-based programs contracted with the Wasatch Family Foundation and separate from Wasatch Charter School.  Enrollment in Aftercare Programs is at the discretion of the Director of the Wasatch Family Foundation. ​
